Products I Use!

Updated: Feb 9, 2022

This will be an ONGOING blog post! I will keep adding links to products I use! If you have any questions about what I use or why, feel free to comment, contact me or DM me on social media!

Moisture Meter

Warm Mist Humidifier $34.99 I originally bought from Target but I

found it at Best Buy

I have several of these! They were the cheapest ones that "misted" instead of spraying. That was my only logic for getting these ones!

Continuous Misting Spray Bottles are easier on your hands so you can try those too! You may be able to find a better deal by purchasing a multi pack!

This was definitely worth it! I have 3 of them! I buy LOTS of small plant material so these are perfect for that! It could also help speed up the propagation process with extra humidity.

  • I don't have the large greenhouse cabinets from IKEA but they are very popular and work well! Here is the link to those IKEA greenhouse cabinets options. Scroll down in the link to the Similar Products section.

You may be able to find a multi pack for a better price or even a local garden center may sell this! I fertilize every 2 weeks when I water my plants, starting around the end of February through October. I only fertilize once or twice in winter because the plant isn't as active! I use about 1/2 to 3/4 the recommended amount of fertilizer because I would rather under fertilize than over fertilize my plants.

When I reached out to Fox Farm this is what they recommended...

"Either Grow Big or Happy Frog All Purpose Dry Fertilizer would be excellent options for your houseplants! Grow Big (6-4-4) is our all-purpose liquid plant food that your plants will love! It is incredibly concentrated and fast-acting and design to provide full-scale, crucial micro- and macro-nutrients to your plants. Grow Big can be applied at a rate of 2-3 teaspoons per gallon of water once a week. If you prefer a dry fertilizer, Happy Frog All Purpose Dry Fertilizer (6-4-5) is OMRI and CDFA listed and it’s a ready to use blend of balanced nitrogen rich fertilizers and microorganisms. Mycorrizhal fungi are included to help increase root efficiency, which may enhance nutrient uptake and water absorption. It is super easy to use, just apply monthly as

topdressing. This is an excellent choice for your indoor plants."
